Words from the Seneschal: Baronial Customary has been sent up to Kingdom Seneschal for their review and approval. New 2026 Insurance certificate has been received.
Exchequer: Still awaiting changes to Financial Policy from Corporate. There will be new Exchequer training in March and Lady Melrakki will remain in-training for Exchequer.
Checks written: Kapka for Fighters practice, Rogues Tavern for site. Upcoming: Web hosting
Chatelaine: Two gentles – Ladies Isentrud & Elastar have stepped up to run this office jointly. Approved. Emerald City Comic Con – March 5 – 8 (ECCC) – is coming up and Madrone will spearhead the Demo effort again.
A&S: Encouragement for A&S Championship & Displays at Feast of St. Bubba’s on Feb 14th in Wyewood. Quarterly report has been submitted.
Chamberlain: Inventory of the storage unit will take place Sunday, February 1st starting at 10am – please contact Enzio if you can help.
Armored Combat: Practices have been well attended with no injuries, Ursulmas went great!
Rapier: Practices are going great. Many participated at Ursulmas
Cut n Thrust: New Marshal (Morganus) & Deputy (Ancereta) approved.
Herald: Quarterly report has been submitted. Aurelius is helping with reports to Kingdom and court reports. Still working on making sure Tsveti bead colors are uniform with Dexter. The bead for pewtering and metalsmithing is officially “pewter” colored.
Scribal: Scribal meetings are happening.
Webster: All good. A “recommend button” has been added on various pages that will open up an email window with the emails to Baron & Baroness populated. Suggestion for video collage of photos – seeking gentle to do that. Youtube log-in credentials was sent to Baron & current Social Media officer.
Chronicler: Quarterly report has been sent to Kingdom and working of the Leaf.
Words from PdL: PdL will be putting on a Sven’s Event in November, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Sergeantry:
We have sad news to relay, Yeoman Arrianna d’Ounay has passed away.
- She was a long-standing Yeoman to Madrone, who served many Baroness’ and support many candidates in their quest to be sergeants.
- Her presence in the Barony is greatly missed.
12th Night 2026
- Courtier Muirghein provided retinue support.
- Candidate Bear contributed their photography skills to the event.
Ursalmas
- Candidate Bear also contributed their photography skills to this event as well.
- Courtiers Kate, Muirghein and Basilius assisted with marshaling rapier and cut & thrust tournaments.

Dance: February dance will not be happening at Kapka. But looking forward to Dance at Rogues Tavern. Upcoming Practice Schedule:

- Monday, March 16, in Madrone / Seattle
Socials: February 2nd social will continue the Largesse Making Party, and newcomers/Guild Fair planned for April after ECCC.
Events:
Rogue’s Tavern (February 21st 2026): All is moving a pace. Insurance Certificate has been received and forwarded to the site.
- Garland making party at Kerij-e & Rafael’s Feb 1st.
- Gate will open at 1pm and there will be a hospitality table with munchies for all.

Colloquium/Spring Event (April 11th, 2026): 2nd presentation by Jade – decision made not to have classroom 7, event approved.
Lionhearts (May 30th, 2026): Please contact Baroness if you are inclined to help with this year’s event. Camping tabled to 2027.
Athenaeum (June 27th, 2026): Applications to exhibit will open up in March.EventSteward – Ameline.
Other Business:
2026 Budget for Cut-n-Thrust loaner gear presented. Will be ratified during Financial Committee meeting.
New Business:
Dragon Slayer Demo / Walk for NW Sarcoma Foundation in Magnusson Park September 19. Will have a demo by Amtgard. Proposal to have an SCA presence as well. Slade will connect with Chatelaines.
