Lionhearts in the Park

Event Fee:  $30 (Members receive a $10 member discount)/ Youth 17 & Under are Free

Don your armor, pick up your swords, bring your art & craft work, and join us for a day of valiant combat and competition in the Barony of Madrone.

Fighters will vie to take on the mantles of Champions for Armored Combat, Rapier Combat, and Cut-and-Thrust prowess.

We will have the Barn shelter in case of inclement weather and will be organizing some Arts & Sciences activities there as well.

Food

Bring your lunch and preferred beverages.

A hospitality table with snacks and nibbles will be available to all attending. Do bring a favorite to share!

Tentative Schedule

10:00 am – Gate Opens

11:00 am – Morning Court

After court – Tournaments, Archery, Thrown Weapons

tbd pm – Afternoon Court

6:00 pm – Pack up, clean up site, depart

Site Information & What to Bring

The site is a grass field. Bring your pop-ups and day-flys to share shade with your friends. NO STAKES MAY BE DRIVEN IN THE GROUND.

Wear your outdoor garb and footwear. Bring your day-event equipment: chair(s), tables, banners, your medieval eating gear, and your preferred “being outdoors all day” food and beverages that keep you  cool (or warm, if it’s rainy) and hydrated.

Parking is next to the field. Pets are welcomed if they are leashed and under supervision at all times. Please plan to “pack in and pack out” your trash for the day.
