Lionhearts – May 6 – Kit – Closing Report

Lionhearts was very well attended with estimates of up to 60, with many passersby stopping to engage. Thanks for everyone who welcomed them.

The site is great and shall be used again.

There was one injury which was deemed an accident. (See Rapier report)

Athenaeum – June 24

52 exhibitors are signed up, Laurel sign ups are beginning and pre-registration and lunch pre-payment will be open in a week.

Peasant’s Revel – Bergdis

  • Event information for the Crier has been sent in
  • Event is a “picnic in the park” format with a cold lunch planned. The traditional cheese rolling is a “go.”

Harvest Dinner – Cancellation (or reimagining?)

  • We still have the date. Our neighboring Baronies have until the end of May to step up to take the date. If no one decides that they want it, we will re-imagine it as a low-key event or even a joint event.

Call for Volunteers – officers and event stewards/co-stewards

  • We have new members from other kingdoms and newcomers to the SCA both. The Baronial website should be the “to-go” place for information as that is platform agnostic and does not require membership.

New Business

  • No new business.

Meeting closed.
