Words from the PdL Seneschal: UpcomingEvents – Good Yule, New Years Eve-Eve in 2024, May Crown in 2025
Exchequer: Officers who have not turned in their budgets for 2025, please do so. We will be having a financial meeting in November to review the budget. Still seeking a deputy.
A&S: Social night went very well. New Kingdom A&S judging forms are available from the Kingdom A&S website. The 12th Night Peers auction will benefit Pasado’s Safe Haven.
Chatelaine: Demo at Odin’s Fest at the Swedish Club went very well. We shared the space with several other Norse/Viking groups. Pamphlets and business cards were taken and interests expressed in Culinary, fighting and storytelling, etc. Farmers Markets in 2025 offer a table/booth for demo, but must be food / culinary related.
Herald: We are still looking for someone to step into the office. You don’t have to be a book herald or a voice herald to perform this office. It is more of an administrative function. Please contact Seneschal and/or Baroness to express your interest.
Rapier: Beginning to slow down a bit
Chamberlain: List ropes were lent for the demo at the Swedish Club and have all been returned.
Scribal: The scribal meetups are still going on at 3rd Place Books and Crossroads Mall

Rogues Tavern: February 8th 2025. Hall has been booked an all progresses anon.
Spring Colloquium: March 2025 – a desirable event but optional. No bids have been received. Since this is the last Curia for a bid to be presented and discussed per customary, the event will be cancelled and date released.
Lionhearts: May 31, 2025 – offer from Wyewood to combine it with their elevation which will involve Royal presence at their free outdoor site. It will not be a demo therefore.
Athenaeum – June 28, 2025. Bid presented by Ameline de Beaumont with options for lunch by Culinary Guild or outside caterer if the guild does not wish to run it again. All coordinators have been sourced/volunteered but for Gate head.
Virtual Athenaeum – a discussion was had and will continue at November Curia. Main takeaways – the site resides on the kingdom server. Delays were caused by software updates, server issues, and life / communication issues. Some of the problems would be addressed by adding a project manager to the project, so we are currently looking for a project manager to work on the event.
