Words from their Excellencies: Progress – A trip to the Kingdom of Drachenwald – Largesse donations have been received and are greatly appreciated – then 12th Night in 2024.
Words from the Seneschal: December Curia will be the 3rd Tuesday – December 19th
Officers polled and all attending support the candidate. Welcome our incoming Seneschal Bergdis Thorgimsdóttir. Bergdis shall step up at when Kerij-e’s warrant expires in January of 2024.

Reminder: There are still 3 open officer positions: Chatelaine, Herald and Social Media Officer have all been posted.

PdL will not have a meeting in December. Happy Holidays.
OFFICERS REPORTS.
Exchequer:
Paypal donations, Colloquium donations and Silent Auction funds were received and deposited.
A Financial Committee meeting will be scheduled for after the holidays.
Budgets from officers were received and 2024 budget was presented to the populace. An additional line for funds to pay for site fees for free new-comer friendly events was requested. Polling was taken and budget passed.
Reminder: Warrant is up November 2024, and currently, a deputy is sought to be trained into the position.
Arts & Sciences – Aeron Corrino
Officers polled and all attending support the candidate Rotrude Halfblind. Welcome our new A&S Officer.
Chatelaine – Vacant / Gold Key – Isentrude von Osten
Reminder from Seneschal that Chatelaine is a required position.
Armored Combat – Nicklaß Volkhart
Practices are well attended with 15 fighters the past Monday. Monthly war practice will be re-starting. Request for Baronial tabards for fighters – Chamberlain notes that there are tabards in storage and will bring them to the next practice for evaluation – if they can be used / need repair.
Rapier Marshal – Temetgen de Worde
All good, no injuries, approximately 20 participants per practice. Don Samuel McTavisha (a senior marshal) has stepped up to run Cut & Thrust practice.
Chamberlain – Enzio Bandinelli
Signs used for Colloquium have been returned.
Herald – Simon Fisc / Scribe – Eullalia
Herald: Successor sought. Will start as Deputy to the office. Simon will teach/coach.
Scribe: In process of making large shields to represent Barony at wars.
Social has been moved to last Wednesday in November due to the Thanksgiving holidays.
10 participants at previous scribal night and class at Colloquium went so well, they had to be asked to stop to clear the tables for feast. Scribe will collaborate with Chronicler/Bardic Champion (Rowena Jade) to create Thank You notes requested by Baroness.
Social Mediator – Basilius Fuchs
6 people were added to the Barony of Madrone & PdL Group Facebook page. Photos from Colloquium were put up on Barony Facebook and Instagram accounts.

All is well, website is up. Working on forward looking plans for Virtual Athenaeum.

GUILDS/ACTIVITIES/SERGEANTRY
Sergeantry – Basilius Fuchs
Sergeantry candidates continue to study and work on their quest books. A Zoom study group has been set up.
Lieutenant positions are open and current Sergeants are encouraged to apply.
Culinary Guild – Eden of Lioncourt
Saturday meetings to cook / try new recipes are ongoing as are the monthly Zoom business meetings.
Dance – Trahaern ap Leuan (Report sent in)
1st Mondays in PDL
3rd Mondays at Kapka
There is a dance list for 12th night and the dances will be taught at practice.
Equestrian – Kerij-e
There were 6 horses and 8 riders at the last meeting.
Next meeting will be held December 16th.
Socials/Events:

67 adults and 3 youth attended.

September 13 – 15, 2024 – Joint Emprise of the Black Lion and Autumn War
Countess Alianora Greymoor will be the official event liaison for Madrone.
New Business:

Initial bid received from Rowena Jade. Site proposed is the same as 2023 – Cross-Roads Park in Bellevue. Reach out to baronial marshals and champions have been made. Cut and Thrust tourney was mooted.
