Words from the Seneschal: Remote meeting for update to our Customary is planned for Saturday, September 28.
Paperwork for the change in Rapier Marshal and Social Media Officer is in progress.

Words from the Porte de L’eau Seneschal: Margaret Palmer is stepping down. Christopher Hawkins will be stepping up as Seneschal for PdL.
OFFICERS REPORTS.
Exchequer – Etiennette
Second quarter Epay donations have been released by Kingdom. Fighters cash donations deposited, 2nd quarter report in progress.
Reminder: Warrant is up November 2024, and currently, a deputy is sought to be trained into the position.
Arts & Sciences – Rotrude Halfblind : Barony members exhibited Athenaeum. Thanks for help with hospitality table. Will be teaching at Autumn war.
Scribal: – Eulalia : Meetings are regular. Getting backlog of charters done. Deputy scribe – Emile – will step up to help when Eulalia is out later in the year.
Armored Combat – Nick : 4 fighters have expressed interest and Jr. Combat Marshal training is planned. Event set up on Facebook. A bunch got authorized – congratulations. 2 new fighters. Need for arm protection. Request for loaner gear / donations of armor.
Rapier – Galen : “Buldging at the seams” Many new fighters and a need for loaner gear. Request for help making additional loaner gear. 1 reportable injury, but it was not a heavy hit, but a previous injury that was aggravated.
Social Media – Isentrud: 8 new Facebook Group adds. Discord set up and email sent
Webster – Rowenna de Manning
Brought upcoming events front and center on the home page.
Updated plugins and updated page to current version of WordPress.
The Stranger article created a spike in visitors.
Chronicler – Rowena Jade of the Lion Isles : 2nd quarter report sent in.
GUILDS/ACTIVITIES/SERGEANTRY
Sergeantry – Basilius Fuchs:
Our group of Sergeants and candidates made appearances at Peasants Revel for cheese chasing and merriment and at July Coronation for fighting, socializing and taking care of our Baronial Pavilion
Gallant Mecia will be teaching a marshalling for C+T at 3 Mountains Service Academy
Candidates and Sergeants have a planned afternoon of SCA geography and heraldry trivia at our very own B and B’s home August 4.
Culinary Guild – Ysolt: Guild Meeting pushed back to August
Dance – Trahaern ap Leuan:
Usual 3rd Mondays at Kapka, 1st Thursdays on the Eastside – keep an eye out for the announcements via Baronial email list and FB page.
Equestrian – Kerij-e: Practice is Saturday at the Garrigues’ – you do not need to have a horse to participate. Come play / hang out with us.

Monday September 9th (2nd Monday) – seeking theme. Suggestion of “What is a peer” panel.

July 13, 2024 – Peasants Revel at Spiritridge Park in Bellevue.
Free event. Total of 60 signed in at gate. Two wheels of cheese were rolled.
September 12 – 15, 2024 – Emprise of the Black Lion at Autumn War in Tenino
Planning is moving apace. There will be camping in stalls.
New Business: Events already on calendar
December 7, 2024 – Bid presented by Rowena Jade for a Madrone + PdL Potluck Social day of dance, music and A&S championships display at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Bellevue.
February 8, 2025 – Bid presented by Valerien Yaroslavl for an expanded Rogues Tavern at Vasa Hall in Preston to include outdoor activities, making use of the available field space.
