Progress: Autumn War/Emprise, September Crown
Words from the Seneschal:
Schedule & process for selection of next coronets will be published via email, and on Facebook and Discord. Polling is August 12th to 15th – please create an account on antir.org to participate in the polling.
Exchequer:
Fighter’s practice has been paid, Storage unit has been paid and the Athenaeum epay monies have been received this week. We also received the 2nd quarter donations $1,519.49. The Checks will be going into the bank this week.
Arts & Sciences:
- Thank you to all of the artisans and populace who came out for Athenaeum! A delight as always.
- We are currently seeking teachers for one-off classes, which could be held in our Kapka social space, or else another venue if needed. Specific requests have been made for knife-sheath making, metal sandcasting, and banner painting.
- If you or someone you know might be available to teach, please let Dame Rotrude know!
- Big Thank Yous to Gera, Aurelius, Tabby, Eulalia, and special shoutout to Isentrude, for arranging and hosting craft nights and get-togethers.
Chatelaine: WorldCon Demo in August is coming up. Keep your eye out for volunteer signup and schedule.
Armored Combat: Inventory of loaner gear is almost complete, Yusof (deputy) has been stepping up a lot. One new fighter authorized and another soon to be.
Rapier & Cut-n-Thrust: New kingdom rules are published! Authorized 24 in spear & case.
Herald: 2 deputies have stepped up. Matilda Stoyle for book heraldry, Aurelius (a new comer to the kingdom) a general & court heraldry deputy
Scribal: Mindful of scrolls that will be needed for Autumn War/Emprise.
Social Media : 7 new members added to Facebook group, 9 to Discord server
Chronicler: Still seeking a successor. Working on quarterly report & August Leaf.
Words from PDL Seneschal: All are welcome to the monthly Curia on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Sergeantry: Working on getting quest books up on Google drive.
Athenaeum:
- Sergeantry supported helping with setting up and tearing down (thank you all)
- We also got some updated pictures of current sergeants and candidates with our BnB (to post on site soon)
- Lancer Valerian was recognized with a Goutte de Sang
- Gallant’s Mecia and Kate and candidate Nathaniel presented their A+S passions to the populace
July Coronation :
- Gallant Mecia was the winner in the July Coronation Provost C+T MOD invitational.
7/20/2025: Candidates Bear, Emil, Sergeant Nicklaß and Baroness (courtier) Margaret Palmer came together with our BnB and others to build more ropes for the Kingdom lists pavilion (thank you!)
Culinary: August Meeting will be in Shoreline – contact the guild/ Tristan for address if interested in attending

Equestrian: Next meeting is August 16th – contact the guild / Alexis or Crystal for address if interested in attending
Socials: Meet and Greet candidates for Baronial Coronets on July 27th and Month July 29th at Kapka School – there will be ice cream. Location for July 27th will be published via the usual email, Facebook, Discord and on the Baronial website.
Events:
- Athenaeum (Jun 28, 2025) – Did well, we made a profit. Feedback received – the lunch menu received “thumbs up” for variety and Vegan/Gluten free selections. If we use the space again, we know that the tables are 8’ by 18”
- Peasants Revel (Aug 9, 2025) – Spirit Ridge Park. No cheese rolling. Other silly games with cheese will be played.
- Emprise / Autumn War (Sep 11 – 14, 2025) – Looking for a camp wrangler and an equestrian judge wrangler. Contact Kerij-e. Barun Kit & Barunin Gera will be doing roving court, and step down Saturday evening. Retinue volunteers will be sought
- Baronial Banquet (Nov 1, 2025) – Scottish Rite Masonic Center in Shoreline. There will be pre-registration for this event
