Progress: 12th night, Collegium & Ursulmas
Words from the Seneschal: December Curia will be the 3rd Tuesday – December 19th
Emerald City Comic Con has reached out to us to do a Tavern Demo, Feb 29 – Mar 3 at the Seattle Convention Center (it is the same weekend as KAS & QRC). Kingdom Chatelaine is chuffed and we will be coordinating with Wyewood, Aquaterra and maybe Blatha an Oir as well. More info to come.

OFFICERS REPORTS.
Exchequer:
2024 Budget presented (2nd presentation). Previously approved but unspent budget line for video conference software brought up for next year’s budget. Polling done, accepted.
A Financial Committee meeting will be scheduled for January.
Reminder: Warrant is up November 2024, and currently, a deputy is sought to be trained into the position.
Arts & Sciences – Rotrude Halfblind
Reminder of 12th Night (January 2024) Peers Auction and encouragement to donate/participate/buy items – choice of beneficiary is the Trevor Project.
Plans – Leatherworking workshop/demo at Emprise of the Black Lion
Chatelaine – Application for the position received and published.
Applicant for the position Medea, was presented by Seneschal and published FB as well as email list.
Armored Combat – Nicklaß Volkhart
Practices are still well attended even in the holidays. Hope/wish for Jan 1 (Monday) practice if the school will be open/allows
Rapier Marshal – Temetgen de Worde
All good, no injuries, approximately 20 participants per practice. Don Samuel (a senior marshal) has Minor injury – reported up the chain. Also hope/wish for Jan 1 practice.
Herald – Simon Fisc / Scribe – Eullalia
Herald: Successor sought. Will start as Deputy to the office. Simon will teach/coach.
Scribe: Wednesday scribal meetings have been well attended. People have shown up to do things or just visit.

GUILDS/ACTIVITIES/SERGEANTRY
Sergeantry – Emma la rouse d’Argentan
Candidates continue to study and work on their quest books. Some slow down for the holidays.
Reminder: Lieutenant positions are open and current Sergeants are encouraged to apply.
Culinary Guild – Eden Rain
Meetings continue. There’s been an uptick in membership and activity.
Dance – Trahaern ap Leuan
1st Mondays in PDL / 3rd Mondays at Kapka
There is a dance list for 12th night and the dances will be taught at practice.
Equestrian – Kerij-e
December practice was unmounted – due to circumstances including horse illness/injury. There has been a steady attendance of about 10 members.
Insurance has been ordered for 2024.
Socials/Events:
January 8, 2024 – Kapka Social
Prep for 12th Night. Rowenna will host.
February 10, 2024 – Rogue Tavern at Vasa Hall in Preston.
Contract signed for the site, FB event has been created. Bardic Championship will take place at Rogue Tavern
May 4, 2024 – Lionhearts
2nd presentation from Rowena Jade. Polling for Lionhearts bid – accepted. Shall be at Crossroads Park – same site as 2023 event. Bellevue Parks Site rentals will open January 17th and event steward will coordinate with new Seneschal (Bergdis) to rent the site.
New Business:
Tri-Baronial Yule for 2024 – seeking sites with professional kitchen and accommodate up to 250 attendees. Please forward potential site suggestions to Seneschal
Spring Colloquium 2024 – Mar 16 or 23 1st proposal by Eden & Eulalia. Classes, Garb & equipment swap, “hangout and work” space, long-format class. No site fees but donations encouraged.
Online Atheneum presentation by Alicia du Bois. General support for the idea, details are to be worked out.
