Exchequer Report: Fighting space rental paid for June.
Seneschal Report: at the beginning of July Jade takes on the roll of Seneschal and has the all needed to fulfill the offices rolls and responsibilities. Change of officer form to be sent in soon.
A&S Report: Come to Athenaeum this weekend. Heraldsbane to become new A&S Deputy. Upcoming arts meet up is set for 7/15 6-9pm in Bellevue. BAO needs teachers for one hour classes at their event, Lord Defender 7/11/2026.
Chatelaine Report: Needs more business cards for baronial outreach. See you at Athenaeum and Pride !
Armoured Combat Report: Several new people at practice. There is a need for new loaners great for heavy fighters. Practice is outside in the park next to KAPKA while the weather is good.
Rapier Marshal: Good event at Lionhearts with a new champion crowned.
Cut and Thrust: New champion crowned at Lionshearts. Loaner gear has arrived and is in use as we speak. Morganus is putting out a call for new Cut and Thrust Marshal for the Barony. They are stepping into a regional Marshal role. If you would like to know more contact the current Marshal. Practices are Wednesday nights in Crossroads Park. Practices on Wednesdays are an additional practice to Mondays at Kapka.
Chamberlain Report: Chamberlain has stuff ready for event needs. New signs being made for barony for marking event locations.
Herald Report: No plans for Herald’s Points at Athenaeum. Plan on Fall Feast for consultations.
Scribe Report: The backlog of previous awards are being worked down. Charters from Christoper and Gera’s reign have been archived.
Social Media Report: We are caught up on event creation. Reach out as there is availability to create events for the fun events with your friends.
Web Minister: In need of a Deputy to take on the role in future. Websites are running well.
PDL: Planning for the next event which is Peasant’s Revel on 8/8/2026. Areon to be autocrat for this event
Sargentry: Seek out a sergeant on your quest if you need support. At June Faire this year: Bjorn Hylimrixfari was taken as a protege to Master Volk the Grey. Mecia Raposa & Kate McKim supported the Rapier and Cut and thrust fields. Nicklaus Volkheart fought valiantly in tournaments.
Culinary: Updating recipe books, stay tuned for plans for a fall feast event. We are having a meeting next wednesday 7/1/2026
Dance: Dance was canceled at the last practice. Other upcoming dance opportunities in the area: Thursday, July 2, in Porte de l’Eau / Kirkland (1st Thursdays) Monday, July 20, in Madrone / Seattle (3rd Mondays) Practice held at Trahaearn and Janelyn’s home.
Equestrian: Upcoming planned practices 7/11, 8/15 8/29. 6 horses rode at Saturday’s practice on 6/20. There is a need ground crew for events coming up if you want to come learn equestrian upcoming practices are a good opportunity to do so. There will be a site visit for Empires on 8/2/2026.
Upcoming socials: The Ice Cream Social next to kapka needs a date, if you have a proposed date please consult your Barony Chatelaine.
Events:
Lionhearts: Good event, around 50 people showed up to the event. If you have ideas for next Lionhearts please submit your ideas in the future to submitted to their excellencies.
Athenaeum 6/27/2026: Renton Tech College. 45 presenters will be displaying at this years event. There is a plan in place to help exhibitors load in on Friday from 3-8 PM to help make Saturday more manageable. Some volunteers needed for clean up and load in and out. 110 preregistered ¾ of those bought lunch with more available for purchase on site. There is still a need for gate volunteers for the event, contact Kerij-e for details. Exhibitors check your emails for details on how to navigate the building and your table number.
Peasant’s Reveal 8/8/26: Spirit Ridge Park, Bellevue. There will be “Battle Croquet” with a champion to be chosen. Cheese activities are being planned
Emprise of Black Lion at Autumn War 9/10-9/13/2026 : T-90 Ranch, Tenino. More details are coming for a fighters tournament sponsored by the Barony. For equestrian: Preliminary schedule is available on the event website. Friday is mounted combat all day, both established and experimental. Ground crew needed for Saturday. Opportunities available at each equestrian practice to learn how to ground crew. The Barony to run a challenge tournament during Autumn War.
Fall event presentation: Use the same church as Yule (Fauntleroy) as cost is known and break-even is easy for the feast with a fantastic menu on offer. Culinary guild has proposed a desert auction during the fall. Nordic-style feast and is planned for $15 before site fee. Contract to be signed for in July as that will help with the change over of officers. This event has been accepted at Curia after a second presentation.
