The Baron and Baroness of Madrone, eldest and grandest Barony in An Tir, send most courteous greetings and invite their people and friends to attend a banquet prepared by the Madrone Culinary Guild.
In honor of the season, the Madrone Culinary Guild will be serving a meal from an actual 16th century Transylvanian cookbook!
Ooh Transylvania = Vampires, you think! What will they serve? Roasted bats? No! Roasted beef with bacon & herbs! Spinach in a sour cream sauce! Wine red bread pudding!
So much good food! But Yes, also lots of fun thematic décor! Come delight in a rich historic cuisine & celebrate a bit of the spooky season with your friends in Madrone!
Pre-reservation is required for the meal. Dietary restrictions should be reported at that time.
There is no off-board seating available due to the size of the hall.
Children attending the feast pay no site fee but must pay a full feast fee.

What to bring: wear your favorite medieval garb; bring your own feast gear of plate, bowl, cup, utensils, battery-powered candles, napkin. Bring your own favorite beverages. The dinner will include water service on the table. Dishwashing afterward is not provided – be prepared with a plastic bag or two in order to take your dishes home after dinner to wash.

Activities:
Our Baroness, Sir Rauokinn, wishes there to be games, dancing, classes, displays, court, shenanigans and whimsy! And don’t forget that subtle (or not so subtle) Halloween- inspired peri-ode costumes will delight your Baroness for which you may be rewarded.
If you are interested in teaching a class, bringing some whimsy, instigating shenanigans and/or displaying a project please let the event steward, Salvador Rodrigo de Granada, or Their Excellencies know, and we can make sure we have time and space carved out for you.
Additionally, Their Excellencies would love to have a display of Madrone history — we will be breaking out the Grand Gigantic Charter, past letters of intent from our Sergeants, both current and emeritus, historic regalia, and hopefully a bunch of photos. To that end, if you have photo albums of past Madrone events or people, we encourage you to bring them and share. We are also looking into the possibility of having a digital photo slide show where you will be able to add your most recent memories to the digital album.
