Rapier Practice

Rapier Practice is held every Monday night at KapKa School, and there is a Rapier Practice on Thursday evenings in Bellevue. See details below.

Attendees are responsible for checing that no equipment or personal items are left behind, and the KapKa gym is re-set and clean after each use. Thank you!

Thursday Evening Rapier Practice and Training Schedule for Rapier

Thursday evening Rapier Practice takes place from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Redmond Elementary School, 16800 NE 80th St, Redmond, WA 98052. This practice will move on May 16 and be held at Crossroads Park, 999 164th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98008 .

Don Samuael manages a monthly training schedule for rapier. The intent is to have the rapier classes focus on specifics and to provide opportunities for additional skills to be added and to build a well-rounded practice.

Training Guidelines:
–Themes are posted in advance, to facilitate planning and coordination of materials and equipment
–Training sessions are conducted from 7:15 to 8PM
–Training is kept (as much as possible) to single issue topics
–Trainers are self-sourced, and trainers can work out who will be doing what
–Some training may be in a classroom.
