General Reminders About the Site
Do not congregate outside the entrance.
Do not go into any other areas of the school, except the restrooms and the mezzanine, except during socials in the cafe.
Clean up after yourselves. No empty bottles, garbage, etc. "Cleaner than we found it."
Observe all parking regulations in the area. The lot across Dayton Ave N is available.
For those who do not wish to practice indoors, there is a spot in War Garden Public Park across from the school on N 50th Street that has been used in the past. (Be careful crossing the street and please still sign in for tracking and waivers.)
Exit the hall by 9 p.m. promptly so that the cleaning staff can complete their work. This is a family neighborhood, please keep the volume down outside.

Our formal Baronial Social upstairs above heavy medieval combat/rapier combat practice, where we'll generally have an A&S project. This activity is not in garb/historical clothing.

We've got some fun and friendly dances lined up so all can participate, from newcomers to frequent performers. I might also pull out some favorite new dances learned at the 50 Year Celebration. Join us and help establish a new tradition of dancing in Madrone's canton of
Porte de l'Eau on the first Thursday of each month! Garb is not required,
but comfortable shoes are a good idea. Our son wants you to know that
kids are welcome, and can join us in dancing or can play inside or outside.

The Dancemaster of Madrone leads dance practice at the Baronial Social. At dance practices we do a variety o fEnglish, French, and Italian dances that date from about 1450 to 1651. We pick the dances each evening based on the interest and abilities of those who attend. More information, click here.
